Do I need a passport?
YES! Please start this process as soon as possible and allow extra time to renew your passport.

What is the weather like?
Cartagena is very close to the equator and the weather does not vary much. In May, the low is often 75 degrees and the high is 90 degrees.

Do I need a rental car?
No! Everything is within walking distance in the old city. You will be taking a taxi from the airport to your hotel.

Is it safe?
YES! Cartagena is safe and is a well-known tourist destination in Colombia. As always with traveling to any new destination, we should always stay vigilant and careful.

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Gentlemen, please wear a black tuxedo or suit with a black bow tie.
Ladies, please wear soft pastel-colored floor-length dresses or sets. Visit this page for inspiration.

Are extra guests allowed?
Due to the space limitations of our venue, we are not able to accommodate extra guests. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. When filling out your RSVP, you will be able the names of the guests invited under your name.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Please respond on this form by March 4, 2024.

Where will the wedding be?
The church ceremony will be held in the Catedral de Santa Catalina de Alejandría. There will be a cocktail hour afterward in the Institución Universitaria Bellas Artes y Ciencias de Bolívar with appetizers and drinks with a formal dinner to follow. The reception is in a courtyard.
